RYZZLAH – Boogeyman
A 4K music video created for Montreal-based artist RYZZLAH, centered around returning to the neighborhood where he grew up.
A grounded music video built around place, movement, and personal roots.
This music video was created for RYZZLAH, a Montreal-based artist, and filmed in Gatineau around the neighborhood where he grew up. The concept was intentionally simple: return to familiar places and build the visuals around that connection to environment, memory, and personal history.
Rather than relying on a complex narrative, the direction focused on strong locations, natural movement, and atmosphere. The final result is a clean and cinematic piece that feels authentic to the artist while still delivering polished visuals.
Shot across real locations using a mix of cinematic framing and aerial footage.
We walked through the neighborhood and selected locations that felt visually strong and true to the concept. The shoot was built around real spaces rather than staged sets, which helped give the video a more grounded and personal tone.
One of the scenes features outdoor calisthenics training, adding energy and contrast to the video. Combined with crisp 4K image quality and drone shots, the final piece balances raw movement with a more cinematic sense of scale.
